Biomass Logs
The environmentally conscious choice for all wood burning stoves
The logs are pressed from the residue of British grown rapeseed after
the oil has been extracted and used for food and fuel oil. The rape
meal traditionally used in cattle feed is pressed to form a log with
exceptional burning and heating qualities.
This eco friendly bio fuel has been tested and approved for use on
all solid fuel stoves and burners by HETAS, the official body recognised
by government to approve solid fuel domestic heating stoves, fuels
and services.
This renewable bio fuel:
- Produces twice as much heat as wood - wood 10-15 MJ/Kg,
Eco Logs 21-23 MJ/kg low grade fuel 25- 26 MJ/Kg
- Have a longer burning time than wood - 1 standard log
is equivalent to 3 wooden logs
- Weigh approx 1.25 kg and measure 100mmX105mmX105mm. A box of twelve
weight approx 15 Kg
- Produce little soot as they are made from a renewable energy resource
with little residual fibre content and contain no tar
As well as being clean and easy to store in their carton, by using
these renewable energy logs you will be reducing your carbon footprint,
reducing your energy bill and supporting environmentally efficient
renewable energy production.
To
use:
- Either split off a small piece and ignite with firelighters or
kindling, or establish the fire in your traditional way and allow
the fire to take hold
- Place one or two logs on the established fire
